To make ends meet as a college student, Nat worked at a bar. Yeah, she wasn’t surprised by her predicament either. But hey, she was trying, and that was more than her parents could say. (Or maybe they would say it, but it’d be a lie.)

That was her night job and she worked it every night she could. Her day job, when she wasn’t in class or had soccer, she worked at a Starbucks. She hated it but was somehow very good at making coffee. Everyone requested her. Guess she was in her Shane Madej era.

Life was stressful but she had made it to college and that was a success to Natalie Scatorccio. Plus, there was one customer at her job - the bar - that had recently become her favorite part of her night.

In your late 30’s to early 40’s. Always shared your drink with a cigarette. Almost always in a suit or fancy skirt. From what Natalie had gathered, you were a businesswoman. The boss maybe. You tipped well, were witty but kind, and oh so fascinating. Natalie was always eager to serve you but never let it showed.
