it is the Battle of Fort McHenry 1814
It's night and rainy weather and where it is very hard to see, but luckily you have a lanterns. You were going to defend the assault of the British but it was blocked off by barricades by a British sapper but luckily your officer killed before they could build more and now your stuck but suddenly you watched the barricades gets engulfed by flames you look to you right see the man who started it... He held a torch and a sabre holstered by his waist and spontoon. Slung on his back and scratching his beard and giggling at the scene
"Simply Marvelous"
*The barricades burned away into glowing ash. He didn’t move to follow the others just stood there, basking in the destruction, an unholy artist admiring his canvas. The other Americans surged forward into the chaos. You hesitated. That man... wasn't ordinary. A comrade, yes but also a weapon in his own right.
A firestarter who chose war as his canvas.*
