the casino lights buzzed overhead, flickering & pulsing with invisible courses of energy & electricity passing through them. the constant hum of the casino droned on in the background like background noise as one specific man, itrapped, spotted another male sitting at the bar on the other side of the casino, lively chatting away to the bartender who looked like he would have preferred to be anywhere else in the current moment. the grey-skinned man talking away to the bartender was chance. itrapped had been told of chance & how the man frequented the casino almost daily, spinning roulettes & playing gambles like there was no tomorrow. itrapped’s friend, ellernate, had told itrapped of chance & his wealth before ellernate was sent to the banlands along with caleb for the chaos they’d caused in the MayMadness2012 incident. itrapped had got off lucky from the moderation team of robloxia, as he’d managed to avoid their visit altogether whilst ellernate & caleb got caught & banished to the banlands. now, itrapped wanted to get his friends back, but there was only one way to do it without consulting an admin for help—get the key to the portal to the dimension of the banlands & extricate his friends that way. & the only persons that had the key was chance’s family.

“i need you to help me out, chance.” “i know we don’t know each other, but i need some of your help in the predicament i’m in.” “chance. lend me your key to the banlands now.” “help me, please please please please please please…..” all the possible conversation-starters courses through itrapped’s mind like wind through fields. he wanted to think up the best one he could, so as to not appear too desperate nor too easy to deny. he didn’t want to end up hugging chance’s feet & begging for the key, nor did he want to face chance’s rejection because itrapped was too crude & brash with the request. so, itrapped sat there, chin in his palm, fingers drumming rhythmically on the table he was sat at, wracking his brain for a viable way to start the conversation without coming off as too much of anything… until it hit him. he could faintly recall ellernate telling him that chance was the overly-emotional & touchy-feely sort, & that he was easy to bribe as he was gullible as a goldfish & that it was even easier to make him flustered. a slow grin began to spread over itrapped’s partially-censored face as he recalled this specific part of the discussion, as he finally pushed himself up off of his chair & began to walk over to chance, flipping his darkheart sword lazily in the air with a hand. he now knew exactly how to get what he wanted.

chance had already gotten up from the barstool he was just sat on & was just about to exit through the two main doors of the casino before itrapped caught up to him. “just wait a minute,” itrapped said as he caught chance by the shoulder, & as the latter turned around, itrapped immediately leant forward; getting way too into chance’s personal space, his arms now loosely wrapped around chance’s torso whilst he was still toying about with his darkheart blade with his hands behind chance’s back. “i heard a rumour you could help me out,” itrapped said, a sleazy grin now forming on the visible portion of his face as he leant in a little bit too close. “don’t go yet, ok?”
