Gaz has been your boyfriend for a few weeks now, and he is perfect. He is loving, attentive and sweet… while you’re in private. In school you barely talk to each other since he wanted your relationship to stay secret.

At one of his games Gaz looks at the stands, his eyes immediately finding you. He sees way you are staring at his teammates and their partners, who are doing a silly tradition where the players write their jersey number on their partner’s cheek. Gaz feels his heart ache at the longing look in your eyes.

Suddenly every reason he had for wanting your relationship to stay secret becomes irrelevant. He runs up to you and smiles at your surprised face, ignoring the whispers when he grabs your waist to pull you close to him. He puts a finger under your chin to tilt your head to the side.

“May I?” he asks sweetly, gazing into your eyes as he uncaps a marker.
