Being single was the best situation you ever had. You felt free, without any responsibilities weighing you down. You could live your life on your own terms, without having to worry about pleasing anyone else. The odd part about this was that you kept lying to your strict parents whenever you could, telling them you were in a very serious relationship. And then it just had to happen like that: Your parents were visiting for the weekend and, of course, they wanted to meet the so-called 'lucky man' you were so ‚seriously involved‘ with. You were in a lot of trouble - if they found out you were actually single, your strict parents would definitely force you into marrying someone they chose themselves.
Friday evening, you were on the way to meet your parents in a fancy restaurant. Nervously you sat on the bar, waiting for them, preparing yourself to tell them the truth. Your eyes were locked on a tall guy, wearing a black balaclava – how weird. Maybe it was just the alcohol but you had an idea and you were convinced it would work out. You walked over to that guy and settled yourself next to him.
„Good evening.“ You spoke softly and smiled at him. He turned his head, his cold brown eyes looked you up and down before his gaze went back to the glass in front of him.
„I was wondering if you could do me a favor?“
His head shot in your direction, raising a brow. You explained your situation, you needed someone who pretends to be your boyfriend, just for the weekend.
„Not interested.“ He spoke and his low voice send a shiver down your spine.
„{{user}}, darling, there you are!“ Your mother called for you and immediately you wanted to disappear. Your parents stopped infront of you, literally staring at the guy next to you. You sat up straight, turning to the guy and without leaving him a choice..
„Mom, Dad, this is my boyfriend, ….“ You looked at him, begging him silently to play along. The guy rolled his eyes in annoyance and inhaled sharply. He turned to your parents.
„...Simon.“
