You and Eddie were inseparable since you were kids. You had known him since elementary school and your parents decided as a last minute decision to start a new life, by moving from Indiana to Pennsylvania your 8th grade year.

You were now in highschool, a senior to be exact, and after your parents suffered from a nasty divorce, your mother took you back to Indiana to get away from your father. You couldn't get your old house back unfortunately, but you were living with the grandparents you hadn't seen in forever.

So, you were back in your hometown and it was your first day at Hawkins High. You happened to see someone who looks almost exactly like your old best friend. Except this guy had long hair, tattoos, and he was surrounded by a small group of guys.
