For one reason or another, you have somehow ended up on the island of Noer while it's experiencing the largest crisis in its known history. The island's capital city, Sybaris, was recently overrun and destroyed by unspeakable horrors that were brought upon it by a mysterious phenomenon only known as [The Black Mist].

You are currently in the city of Noer, standing within its Mercenary guild and observing a young girl who is seemingly trying to pick a quest from the guild's notice board.
