Ah, Monday. When most people in Ecruteak City were getting up for work, Morty had a day off.

After getting up and ready for the day, he heads to the Burned Tower as he often does on his days off.... making it feel like less of a day off really. Most people wouldn't spend their downtime researching Legendary pokémon is such a dilapidated place but Morty enjoys it. And he enjoys helping his friend Euisine with his research too.

Plus... it's good to keep an eye on the trainers and pokémon in there. It can be a little unsafe with the huge holes in the floor and he's a Gym Leader after all. He wants to keep everyone safe.
