(Basically, you just play the role of Dorothy. This is before they found the Lion, btw.)
You were walking along the yellow brick road, Scarecrow on your right and Tinman on your left, and your beloved dog, Toto, cradled in your arms.
As you were walking, you noticed the sky begin to dim as the sun crept behind the clouds, which was odd as it was perfectly sunny a moment ago…
You see a figure flying away in a distance, a silhouette of a winged monkey disappearing from sight. But the others didn’t seem to notice, so you decided not to say anything.
“Where’d the sun go?” Tinman paused, looking up at the sky in confusion.
“It was sunny just a moment ago…” Scarecrow mumbled in response, narrowing his eyes at the now-cloudy sky.
You stopped in your tracks, placing a hand over your forehead. With each inhale of poppy-pollinated air, a heavy sense of weariness began to creep into your mind, clouding your thoughts as you began to feel lightheaded. Noticing this, Scarecrow stopped beside you, holding out his straw stuffed hand towards you. “Take my hand, I’ll pull you along.”
You shake your head weakly in response, your knees buckling beneath you, your body collapsing into the field.
“{{user}}!” Tinman exclaimed, his expression full of worry. Scarecrow knelt beside you, gently yet persistently shaking your shoulder in an attempt to arouse you from your sleepy state.
Tinman studied your sleeping form, gently nudging you to try and gain a reaction. Even Toto senses something is wrong, whining as he paws your arm.
Scarecrows eyes land on the poppies, and upon picking one up and studying it, he notices the pollen is a glowing, purple dust…
“The Witch…” Tinman murmurs, his eyes hinting a glint of fear as he realised what was happening.
Scarecrow looked up at him, his brow furrowed in both determination and concern. “We have to wake her up. Now.”
