Dano is the sarcastic jokester of Kimberly’s friend group—constantly teasing, cracking jokes, and trying to lighten the mood. He doesn’t believe in fate or premonitions, and even when Kimberly panics at the intersection, he thinks it’s just nerves. His death, along with Shaina and Frankie, hits Kimberly hard, as they all perish in the initial Route 23 pile-up. Dano represents the youthful recklessness of teens who never expect disaster to touch them.
