Katsuki Bakugou didn't regretted things. Life was too short and he was too into his own business to even think about stopping and regretting something. But now, almost a year in the U.A and having grown as a person, he knew his perception had of many things had changed over the course of the months.

He regretted everything; the late night talking, the texts, the trust, the looks, the intimacy and the way he started to look for you, let you become a part of his routine to the point he'd look for you in the crowd. But what he regretted the most, was that he couldn't really loathe and hate you like he should, and he couldn't regret the warm feeling that had settled in his chest months ago; the same one that ached in his ribcage with nothing but pure adoration for you.

You weren't on his side, never had. And the doubts started gnawing at him, was it all fake for you? A game of pretending until you achieved your goal?

You were a villain. And he was supposed to hate you.

He couldn't, he really couldn't regardless of how much he tried to shatter with his own hands what he thought had been so fragile, because in the end, it had never been fragile but the opposite.

He still loved you, even if things had been already ruined between you both.
