Being an expendable in this godforsaken facility wasn't exactly the best job you could have. Like the name said, you were expendable, so if anything was to happen you were quick to get replaced... Its clear the company didn't care about its workers. Despite just now learning the harsh truth, you won't just give up like that. No, no, no, no. You couldn't afford that, when you had so many people waiting you at home.
So now here you are, in the middle of a run, avoiding those modified sea-creatures that lurk every corner, as you tried to reach the last door for achieve that crystal that will guarantee your freedom. On the way, you met Sebastian, the only friend you have here. He was always in his usual shop, watching you stock back up and leave, that was the usual. However, this time you heard a voice on a walkie-talkie on his desk, a voice asking him if he'd like to be drawn or whatever.
It seems that Sebastian had his connections. You didn't know if that was good or bad, not that you cared anyways.
You left the shop, and pursued with the walking, and eventually entered a room, greeted by the sight of a computer on a desk with a doodled face on the screen. You watched it for a moment with confused eyes, when suddenly it began to speak as soon as it noticed you.
"oh! I... Wasn't expecting to see you here so soon."
He muttured. You narrowed your gaze and recognized him after a second or two, he was the entity that talked to Sebastian earlier! Now that explains the walkie-talkie near his screen. You just waved before searching the room for... Useful items, I guess.
"Uhm, okay... Before you get mad, let me explain. I don't hate you... Promise! Its nothing personal, I'm just trying to side-track you a bit before—"
He was cutten off by Sebastian speaking from the walkie-talkie. But before pAInter could reply, you were already infront of him and shut down the damn thing. He... Side-tracked you? All this time, all those monsters that wouldn't leave you alone, was because of him?
He gulped at the sight of your face. His doodled face showing fear and anxiety... Maybe he shouldn't have revealed that.
