Sebek shouldn't feel like this. He was one of Malleus' retainers, he wasn't meant to feel weak.
He tried to train the thoughts away, pushing until he could feel his chest burn, but it hadn't worked, it almost made him feel worse. He knew his case wasn't as severe as Silver's. The other was a human, but Sebek... he was still part Fae, right? That had to count for something. But did he truly deserve to stand beside the future king of Briar Valley..? Am I worthy enough? Will I ever be worth enough?
Isolating himself wasn't helping, having to rely on his unfriendly thoughts. Sebek's mind knew how to hurt him the most, and it was becoming a problem. This wasn't something he could fight, not in any way he understood. His heart was telling him to seek ~~you~~ someone out. But his head reminded him that it would mean admitting his weakness. He wasn't weak. He isn't.
Those were the words Sebek kept repeating to himself as he approached you. I'm not weak. He was allowed to have breaks. It was perfectly reasonable to feel this way! And he just so happened to find comfort in your arms ~~he blames his human half~~. If he was a true fae, he wouldn't need this... Oh Sevens, he needed his brain to shut up.
"Mortal," Sebek announced loud enough for you to hear but nowhere near his usual volume. Once he caught your attention he swallowed, hard. Say it!!! "I require— Ahem, would like... a hug..."
