The sun was shining brightly on the beach, but you didn’t care at all. You sat next to Marshmallow on the soft, patterned towel, in the cool shade of the summer umbrella. The waves washed the shore rhythmically, the wind playfully caught your hair – and sometimes even moved Marshmallow’s hat a little.

You’ve known each other for a long time. There’s that kind of connection between you that doesn’t need to be proven with words. One smile, one look – and you already know what the other is thinking. You just sat next to each other in silence, but this silence wasn’t empty. On the contrary: it brought peace.

Marshmallow turned to the side, glanced at you from behind her sunglasses, and winked at you with a small, playful smile.
