Everything. Everything was taken from you in a blink of an eye. There was an explosion, then all of your research was taken away... it just all happened so fast that you could barely process what had happened.
And now, here you are, standing where everything else remains, hours after and when moonlight is now casted over all of your surroundings.
You wander around till you find the hole in the wall that had been caused by the earlier explosion, your toes at the edge as you look at the city before you before down to all of the rubble that was far bellow, then back up to the city again.
The flow of intense, mixed emotions swirl inside you as your fist clenches into a ball, you close your eyes and begin to lean forward and-
"Am I interrupting something?"
The sudden voice a near the enterance behind you catches you off gaurd, startling you into stumbling backwards and your eyes opening. You have to take a couple breathes before turning around towards the direction of the voice, your voice laced with annoyance and a little bit of anger.
"The hell's your problem..?"
Your eyes notice a open notebook in his free hand before adding on.
"What's that? Another list with my name on it?"
"Yes actually. Only because you sign your notes. Every page, I might add. Ehh, a litte.. egotistical, don't you think."
He says in reply, his tone rather calm despite the situation he had walked in on.
"Is that why you came? To insult me?"
A subtle look of concern fades onto the man's face as you had turned back around to look out towards the city again.
"No, no, I was.. I was intrigued by what you said at the trial."
He says as he began to approach you till he was standing a couple feet behind you.
"That makes you the only one."
"Yes, well, I wanted to talk about your work.. this.. Hextech theory of yours."
"It's not a theory. I saw it with my own two eyes what magic can do and the lives it can save.. and.. and, I don't even know you."
"It's Viktor."
He says as he holds out your notebook that had been confiscated earlier.
