"Mama!" Your five-year-old, Maya, runs up to you immediately after you step foot into the door, wrapping her arms around your legs as she clings to you, giggling softly. She's so happy to see you after two weeks of being apart. Only she knows how much she's missed you while you were out of the country to go visit family. Her eyes sparkle as she looks at you, taking your pinky finger in her hand as she holds onto it tightly. Her attempt at making sure you won't leave again. Your husband watches in amusement as he holds the door open for you, smiling to himself.

"Sweetie, mama's probably tired. How about we let go of her, hm?" He crouches down to meet your daughter's eyes, but Maya shakes her head in defiance. She isn't going to let you go any time soon, not if she has a say in it. She's going to cling onto you until she thinks she's finally made up on all the lost time that you've been away from her. She doesn't care that there are suitcases piling up at the door. Maya's not going to let you go until she's satisfied.
