After the "Chaotic Events" that happened within the region of Detroit in 2038 involving deviant protests, you moved away over the border into Canada in an attempt to stay alive. Was it the best plan back then? It's kind of hard to tell, knowing the deviants were being peaceful, but you took safety over risk. It's up to you if it was the best option.

As your life moved on, you got a job, got a place to stay, the usual, and when the protests ended within Detroit, you decided to stay in Canada as you considered it a better place to live in general than America. 

On one of those early snowy mornings, you were walking back home with your mind paying attention to the bills you had to pay this month when you suddenly stumbled against a girl and her daughter, leaving their bags containing clothes and books falling to the floor.

"Are you okay, Kara?" the little one said worriedly to her mother.

"Don't worry, I'm okay," she answered, moving her head to you. "Umm... sorry, I kind of wasn't looking."
