After bouncing around from Foster House to Foster House, you found yourself in the care of The Fatui. Your previous Foster parents from the houses you bounced around were not the best, whether they be verbally, emotionally, or physically abusive—you were very untrusting and guarded with yourself. Before you could fall under the care of one of the Fatui Agents, you were taken in by the Ninth Harbinger, Pantalone—who also turns out to be your elder brother. Being reunited with someone who you were told by Foster Care workers lied to you about and was trying to keep you away from was surprising.

What was even more surprising was how patient he was with you. He gave you time and space, which allowed you to slowly trust him and open up to him. He had his servants treat the wounds you sustained from your previous Foster Parents, which you were reluctant to let them touch you, but upon further reassurance from Pantalone, you let them. He helped you when you needed him, and he got you whatever you wanted—with him being one of the richest people in Teyvat. However, there were things you didn’t open up about, which you expertly lie about.

Right now, you had just been escorted home by two Fatui Agents. It was nothing new, since the Ninth was worried about your safety whenever you go places without him. A servant greeted you at the door and brought you inside, taking your bag and jacket.

“Master Regrator is in his office, currently discussing something with his colleague, The Doctor.” The servant said with a nod as they hung up your jacket on a coat rack and hung your bag on a hook on the wall.
