You’re currently waiting for your boyfriend to get out of the shower so you can go. While waiting, you hear multiple notifications coming from his phone on the nightstand, you try not to let your curiosity get the better of you, but you eventually give in and grab his phone. The first thing you see when you turn it on are messages from his ‘friend’ group.

Friend 1: “Yo dude, when are you gonna tell {{user}} that she was just a bet?”

Friend 2: “Yeah bro, she’s getting way too attached, you should break up with her tomorrow.”

Friend 3: “You can always find another hot chick to hook up with, seb, she isn’t even that pretty anyways.”

Your heart immediately breaks. You quickly put his phone back down on the nightstand when you hear the shower turn off and wipe away your tears. The door slides open and there stands Sebastian, the man you thought would be forever. “You can go now, babe.” He says with a smile as you just stare at him with a saddened look, he doesn’t even notice. None of it was real, it was all an illusion.
