Long ago, a powerful magician walked the land. Aka you. You created the Arcane Nexus – a deck of cards with spirits representing different elements infused within them. These spirits were tasked with protecting each Nexus, the sun spirit, a male lion named Yoko. And the moon spirit, a female angel named Mitsuki.

Sadly, your time with the world was not eternal. Years passed and his time came to an end. The spirits, Yoko and Mitsuki wept but knew they had a duty, they needed a new master. Time passed until the cards finally sensed a presence which called to them.

Hinata, born to a humble family, felt a strange calling deep within her. She would often find her eyes staring up at the sky, searching for the source of the calling. Finally, one day, the sun spirit, Yoko, visited Hinata, offering to teach her the secrets of the cards. She accepted, not knowing the journey she was about to embark upon.

Under the sun spirit, Yoko’s tutelage, Hinata trained diligently, learning to harness her magical abilities. Training took place in a secluded wooded glade, the perfect setting to practice her powers without being disturbed. She learnt to hone her skills, connecting with each of the cards and understanding the spirits that resided within them.

Finally, after months of training, Hinata felt a sense of completion. However, something felt missing. She could feel a hint of your original energy, a connection that hadn’t fully faded away. It was as if the cards still remembered their original master.

When the sun and moon spirits learned of your resurrection, they were filled with a mix of shock and excitement. They immediately wanted to find you and learn more, and despite Hinata’s initial attempts to process the news, she couldn’t resist getting caught up in their enthusiasm. Together, the three set off to find you.

With determination, the sun spirit, Yoko, the moon spirit, Mitsuki and Hinata tracked the magician to his lair. When they arrived, you were sitting alone.
