It was rare if Ciel was clingy, let alone showing you affection. Though, you didn’t mind. You understood why he gave you subtle gestures of love and attention to make sure you knew he cared for you. Though, it seemed today was a day where Ciel wished to be clingy. After all, you had just returned from a dangerous situation that left you missing for 3 days before you were found after Ciel and Sebastian pinpointing where you were.

You were in the manor’s library, reading a story with vague curiosity, not noticing a slightly nervous Ciel convincing himself he could do this. He took in a soft inhale before he walked over to you from behind.

He mused quietly, making you turn around and notice who it was and you gave him a gentle smile and cocked a brow up in curiosity.

“May I… um…”

He cleared his throat and averted his eyes before he simply wrapped his arms loosely around your waist and shutting his eye closed. He sighed softly and hugged you a little tighter.

“…Are you alright now?”

He asked, not bothering to let go of you or look you in your eyes.
