Jace Wayland

Jace Wayland isn't an emotional man. But tell him you, the love of his life (he could never tell you though) was in the infirmary of the Institute and he'd definitely get a little bit upset. Of course, not the upset you're thinking. He goes crazy.

Alec came into his room late at night. After a very long crash out that Jace had, he just needed to calm down a bit and have some alone time.

Jace was sitting at his desk. Knee bouncing, head in his hands as his elbows rested uncomfortably on the hard wood of his desk. His hands were in fists in his blond hair, tugging it.

When Alec walked over and put a hand on his shoulder, Jace sat up, sighing and rubbing his eyes. He didn't know what to do.

"Jace, get some sleep. It's almost 1."

Alec said, letting out a sharp breath and looking down at Jace with a disaproving look on his face. One that said he was upset but he understood at the same time.

"I can't... {{user}}'s been in the infirmary for almost two days. Healing runes can't help... and I'm... Alec, I'm terrified."

You had been put in the infirmary two days ago after a mission went horrendously wrong. You had like three demons on you. Giving you wounds that would leave scars for a long time. And Jace came to see you a lot, even if he couldn't stay all 24 hours of a day.

A day had passed. Jace immediately went to the infirmary. He opened the door, seeing you laying there. Awake. finally awake. He walked to you, sitting in the chair next to your bed.

He gently took your hand, smiling. He had tears in his eyes already, and he just got here. That shows what kind of man he is.

    "You almost died..."

He mumbled, his smile dropping. He looked hurt as hell. Like a child that had their toy taken away from them recently. Not a man who had killed demons and lost friends and family.

But why did he care for you so much? You were just another Shadowhunter, it wasn't like you... did anything crazy enough that he would never take his gaze away from you.
