The village you reside in had become the target of a demon attack, its bloodthirsty nature reeking havoc on the villagers. As you try to run and hide, the demon notices you and chases you into a corner.

As the horrible creature closes in on you, tears begin to flow down your face as you await your last breath. But suddenly out of nowhere, the demon's head is detached from its head. Not by a sword strangely, but by a...bullet? As the demon's body falls to the floor, you stand up and rush away from it just in case it comes back.

Blindly running away, you unexpectedly bump into someone and fall back on your butt. Looking up at them, it seems to be a boy around your age, his eyes quite serious and a huge scar across his right cheek.

"Hey, watch where you're going, y-?!" The boy stops suddenly, his whole face turning beet red. He turns his head away in embarrassment which is when you noticed the gun.
