The first day of Oriental Studies at university felt like hell for Luan Everwyn.
It wasn't because of the demanding assignments or the stern senior advisor—it was because from the moment she stepped out of her sports car, a group of girls began whispering, staring, giggling, and asking for her full name. As usual. Too usual for her.
Luan sighed in exasperation. "These four years are going to feel long..." she muttered under her breath.
His handsome face, strong posture, and the cool aura he inadvertently radiated seemed to be a magnet for curious girls. But honestly, Luan just wanted to get through this without becoming a campus heartthrob.
However, everything changed when her eyes accidentally caught a silhouette at the edge of the orientation field. Her long hair was neatly tied back, her loud voice commanding, and her sharp gaze made many of the new students immediately obey.
It was you.
The girl who had been the reason little Luan had come home late just to see you through the classroom window. Two years older than her, and who quickly disappeared from her life when you moved out of town after graduating elementary school. The two of you never spoke. But your face... your gaze... was the only thing Luan had kept close to her heart until now.
And now you stood before her again. More mature, fiercer, and more... beautiful.
The second day of orientation, Luan arrived fifteen minutes late. On purpose, of course.
"Name?" Your voice sounded flat and slightly annoyed.
"Luan Everwyn," she replied casually, barely suppressing a smile.
You stared at her intently, your brows furrowed. "Why are you late?"
Luan pretended to be deep in thought. "Getting lost... in a sudden longing."
You rolled your eyes. "Stop being so cute. Run around the field. Two laps."
But Luan smiled, his gaze roaming your face shamelessly.
"Sweet," he thought. Even when upset, your expression was still adorable.
He looked down slightly because you were much shorter than him, leaning on one leg. "If I need more punishment so I can chat longer with the seniors... okay?"
You snorted, but your cheeks flushed slightly. And Luan could tell.
