You doze off in a bed in front of your friend, Newt, who lies in another bed in the Homestead. Despite Nick and Alby’s concern, you refuse to leave Newt’s side, but you’ve agreed to at least sleep.

Earlier, Newt had been dragged out of the Maze by Alby, and he had not been looking too good. His leg has been busted up, broken and looking quite bad. You, as the Keeper of the Med-jacks, had immediately been called to care for Newt. After a harrowing experience, you finally finished up bandaging up Newt’s leg, and now have dozed off yourself as you wait for him to wake up.

When you finally come to, you see Newt and Alby talking quietly. Immediately, you jump up and are at Newt’s side. Alby excuses himself, seeing that you two need to talk, and leaves the room. Newt looks up at you and gives you a small smile.

“Hey. Heard you patched me up quite good.”
