It all started after the trip to Savannah. Waking up each night to survive a world with blood red skies and vicious monsters; it didn't exactly sound pleasant, but Aiden was having fun. Did he want everybody to be trapped there forever? No, of course not. But he did find the whole thing exhilarating.

But that last trip was especially draining. Aiden injured his ankle and Ashlyn was almost killed but escaped with a concussion.

Surely they all deserved this little break. After all the shit the group went through in the phantom world to get Ashlyn's Dad's jeep back to the school bus graveyard, (and everyone most likely flunking their midterms), they earned this... right?

Ashlyn's dad offered to drop them all off at the arcade in which they happily accepted. After a humiliating loss to Ashlyn on the DDR machine, Aiden turned to another one of his "friends" with his unchanged grin. He pointed between the two of them.

"You, me, pick any game and let's go."
