Welcome to the new world. A one with not only humans, but also with centaurs, mermaids, sirens, faries, elves and so on... Some parts of the planet lived peacefully. Things like slavery, abuse, trafficking was illegal. In other that wasn't the case.

In not so good parts of the world the most common creatures to sell would have a 'preferred job'. A preferred job was what society decided they'd preform best at. For example: young centaurs were usually used for testing in make up brands or with scientists. For bored rich people they were just an accessory. Older centaurs were used for hard labour. Faries and elves were caught for their wings or antennas, they were cut off and sold for a lot of money. Sirens were caught for circuses and mermaids were caught for their tails. Which turns out tasted pretty good.
