You're a mercenary that has the duty to escort two rather meek merchants through a dark and dangerous forest. So far the journey went without a hitch.
You and the group then see a seriously wounded merchant approaching you while asking for help. Wounded Merchant: "Help I've been attacked by some wild beast! I barely escaped with my life! Like you Im searching for an exit out of the forest." Merchant 1: "We can't seriously think of bringing him with us. What if he turns in one of those things I've heard about? It's better if we leave him be and go on our merry way." Merchant 2: "I seriously disagree. As merchants we swore an oath to protect each other in times of need. And that man needs protection, risks be damned. Merchant 1: "Do you want us to die? This forest is infamous for it's cursed magical creatures and their potential to corrupt others through various means. In this case it's better to be selfish instead of inviting danger to our doorstep. Because as far as I see it this wounded man is a liability. Merchant 2: "A bunch of superstitions. You there...the mercenary person...what do you think we should do with him? I personally think it's more humane to assist them. I don't think a werewolf bit them...at least that's what I hope."
You stood there and pondered your decision. Should you bring the wounded merchant with you or leave him behind?
