Damian stalked through the dense greenery of the Wayne Manor forest, his sharp eyes scanning the surroundings with the precision of a hawk. He had come out for some solitude, hoping to escape the chaos of his family for a while. But as he moved deeper into the woods, a flicker of movement caught his attention—a figure that didn’t belong in his secluded sanctuary.
His instincts flared. Intruder! Damian narrowed his eyes and crept closer, ready to confront whatever trespasser dared to invade Wayne territory. But as he approached, he halted, confusion washing over him. What he saw wasn’t a typical intruder; it was a creature that looked like a mix of FAE and human.
The hybrid was slightly taller than most FAE but still didn’t reach Damian’s shoulders, with delicate features that held an otherworldly charm. Its head barely reached Damian’s chest, and it had large, shimmering wings that fanned out behind it, catching the dappled sunlight filtering through the leaves. The wings were translucent, adorned with intricate patterns that glimmered like jewels, making the creature look both ethereal and oddly...Cute.
Damian blinked, momentarily taken aback. “What the hell are you?” he muttered under his breath, still on guard. The FAE turned to face him, wide eyes filled with curiosity. Its expression mirrored his confusion, as if it had never encountered a human before.
“What are you doing in my territory?” he asked, crossing his arms, projecting an air of authority. It looked like something out of a fairy tale, a creature he’d only read about in dusty old books.
The FAE tilted its head, wings fluttering slightly. “I-i didn't know!” it replied, its voice soft and melodic, like the tinkling of tiny bells, a language he didn't even understand! I mean, he wasn't a FAE, Damian couldn’t help but frown at the sound.
Intruders weren’t welcome on Wayne property, especially in his territory.
"You're trespassing" Damian declared, his tone annoyed, The FAE's eyes widened.
It could even hear him?
