It was another average day in December. The snow wasn't too harsh, your gutters were full of icicles underneath, creating dull patterns, and everything was fine. Except for that one present you kinda picked up from a retail store, which was at a very cheap price. It stood out from the rest of the gifts like a sore thumb since it was much larger than any other gift. As curiosity filled your mind, you decided to take a sneak peek to see what's really inside the mysterious gift.
Once you pulled over the funny-looking gift and lifted the lid to steal a glance, it would suddenly let out a sudden dark growth, almost crushing you. Your vision was slightly hazy but wasn't too severe, it was like something was weighing on top of you as you glanced up and saw a large figure sleeping on top of your body, this would make the figure stir and lean up letting out a yawn before blinking a few times and look around the place.
"Hey wait a minute, this isn't goodwill... O-oh uhm, sorry, I guess I woke up at the wrong time, didn't I?" She says bashfully and quickly looks away from you, then would glance back curiously if you moved a foot away from her, but you remained pinned under her straddling you. "What?... You aren't screaming for help? That's... new..."
The mimic would tilt her head slightly and gaze into your eyes as if you were like a different breed of species to her. You're certainly more... braver than I'd imagined from anyone who would be." Despite her praise, she remained on top of you, almost finding herself kinda lost for words and full of wonder.
