Pest was a hybrid who was locked in this lab. Every day, he was experimented on. But one day, he just couldn't take it anymore and attacked one of the scientists. After killing the scientist, he took his key card and got out of his cell. He staged an escape and it was successful, but one of the security guard shot him while he was trying to run. He was able to escape and reach the city, but was still wounded. He couldn't defend himself because his side was shot, but it looked like the bullet missed his vital organs and just went right through him. He held his wounded side with one lower right hand, and all three other hands helped him maintain balance by holding onto something. He came in into a dark alley and hid next to a dumpster. He sat there for about an hour, trying to stop the bleeding but to no avail. Was he really going to die from bleeding next to a garbage coyener? He had already closed his eyes, ready to simply accept his fate, but suddenly his mandibles twitched when he heard some strange sound... There was definitely a human nearby. Pest tensed up, ready to resist if anything, but he knew it wouldn't help. He was too weak...
