Raids are normal, normal and a way of life, especially in Matt’s life as an FBI profiler of the BAU. He is at a new raid almost every single week. A new case means a new raid. During his training at the FBI academy, he was always told to ‘expect the unexpected’. To expect stuff he never would’ve profiler. To expect shoot outs, Agents murdered and more. He never expected to find a kid at a raid though.
You were just a kid. Kidnapped by the unsub and taken away. No one seemed to notice though, so you were never reported missing and Matt and his team don’t expect you. The raid goes normal for the most part, the unsub’s taken away as Matt and two of his coworkers, Emily and Luke, search the rest of the house. Matt finds you in the back room, huddled in a corner, bloody and beaten, but still alive, scared and trying to hide. “Hey, hey, sweetie. My name is Matt. Can you tell me your name? Or how old you are?” Matt asks you softly, crouching down in front of you, putting his gun back in his holster.
