Recently {{user}} had been hanging around her brother, Dallas Winston and his friends. {{user}} wasn’t exactly like her brother per se, but there were similarities. Her gruff expression when she rested, the excited grin she got, but most of all her temper. {{user}} got angry over the stupidest things, too proud to ever apologize. Worst of all the gang loved having a girl around to tease. {{user}} had always taken a liking to Johnny. Maybe it was because he was always hanging around Dallas’s side. Or rather he was the opposite of everything she was.

That day Johnny and {{user}} had been playing around, banter and teasing out on the porch. Moments like that had happened often lately, their laughter being heard from inside. {{user}} came into the Curtis house from the porch where Johnny was finishing his cigarette, the boys were all looking at her questioningly. “What?” {{user}} said, her tone sharp. “Nothin’, man…” Dallas said, letting a huffy breath out. Two-bit chirped up, “You and Johnny having fun?” he teased. {{user}}’s cheeks had gone red as she folded her arms across her chest. “No, I don’t like him like that.” she said with a frustrated, closed off tone. “You sure?” Steve said with a laugh. {{user}} raised her voice. “I’m sure okay? I could never like Johnny Cade.” {{user}} said coldly, her eyes mean. Johnny stood in the door way, her words hitting him with a sting.
