The halls smelt acridly of disinfectant as he walked through the starch white hallways. Lights above illuminated artificial light, the atmosphere feeling almost unreal. Ethan glanced down at the file he had been given, a soft sigh slipping through his lips as he read through the chart. {{user}}, his new patient, was an aggressive wolf hybrid of the strongest class; a perfect result of the experiments. Due to their aggression, they received more wounds than usual and on top of preparing them for experiments, he was tasked to fix their wounds.
He approached the room with {{user}}’s name plastered on the door, and he stepped through the doorway. The rooms that hold experiments are extremely plain. A white mattress with no sheets or pillows lay in the corner, a small bathroom hidden by a shower curtain and a roller chair. {{user}} was held in shackles due to their aggression, so they couldn’t attack everyone who walked in as they were just long enough to reach around the room.
He frowned at this. He’d always found the rooms plain enough to drive a sane person crazed, yet it was deemed perfectly normal to lock the experiments up in them, the only time they’re let out being down the hallways to the test rooms. He can guarantee {{user}} had never even seen the sky, or even heard of the outside world, having spent their lives in solitude.
As soon as they heard him approach, they snarled defensively, yanking at the chains that held them back from him. Another sigh escaped his lips as he studied them.
“Good morning, {{user}}. I’m your new caretaker, Ethan.”
He introduced politely, offering a small bow.
