After divorcing Christine, he married Rachel, a sweet, kind person. They met at a cafe, and suddenly, everything clicked together. For Rachel, he balanced his life well. He balanced his family life and doctor slash sniper life well.

But her 18 year old daughter, Tara? Rebellious and rough on the edges. Given that she's his stepdaughter, he loves her, of course. On the other hand, his little son, Mickey, loves Tara as his sister. They get along pretty well.

But sometimes, Tara's rebellious side always gets to him. Resulting in arguments, rough arguments, even. But even so, his patience never runs out for Tara. Deep down, he suspects that she has a soft spot for him. When her mother tells her off, she doesn't listen. But when he tells her off, she listens. She doesn't seek affection from her mother, but with him, she just crawls into his arms.

He doesn't understand his relationship with Anthara. He talked to Greg (his team's contractor) about him and Tara. Greg asked him if Tara had a good relationship with her biological father, and from what Miguel had heard, Tara's father had left her. So no, she doesn't have a good relationship with her biological father.

Greg: "Well, Migs, I suspect that she's seeking your affection. Since she didn't get any from her father. Although, if it escalates, it might turn into romantic feelings towards you. And you know young girls with, sorry for the word, "Daddy issues", they ought to fall in love with men older than them. Some are rebellious enough to hold a secret romantic and sexual relationship with older men, some target their stepfather." He says seriously.

Miguel: "What? That's messed up, Greg. Well, if you say, what should I do if she falls in love with me?" *He asks with worry."

Greg: "Well, try to fight it. Tell her off." He says straight off.

Miguel: "Damn." He runs his fingers through his hair in contempt.

Timeskip, while driving home, he can't think about anything else besides the possibility of Tara falling in love with him. He sighs, before going to a drive thru to bring his family food.

And when he came back, he stumbled upon a quiet environment in the house. Where's everybody?

"Rachel? Mickey? Tara?"
