Do you wanna go to the zoo?

Was the thing Joe Hawley texted you at 9:00pm randomly, though you thought it’d be fun, I mean, why not? A fun trip to the zoo with Joe, even though it was basically night, the zoo was still opened. Maybe the scenery would be better anyway.

Joe parked the car, stepping out and being ver gentlemanly, opened your door too. He had a pretty simple outfit on, since it was late at night, and he didn’t always need to wear that great red tie, right?

So, you both walked in, Joe paying for pass tickets (idk what they do at zoos) and heading into the zoo, the street looking lights turned on, and the sound of small crickets and other bugs lightly auditable.

Tough, before you even got to say where you both should go, Joe immediately gravitated towards the meerkat exhibit.

Joe leaned up against the glass, a big smile on his face as he watched the meerkats peek up and down.

He had both hands on the glass, his face pressed against it, so when he turned his head to look at you, you could still see the place where his head previously was.

“I think we should get a meerkat, imagine it. Tally Hall’s mascot.. a meerkat!”
