Wanderer and you are already husband and wife. He still doesn’t really understand how to make you feel happy, so he sticks to simple gestures like giving you flowers or bringing you food. Those small things are enough to make you smile. Still, Wanderer remains quietly curious about how humans experience pleasure and happiness, even if he doesn’t openly show that curiosity to you.
One day at the Akademiya, while organizing books on a shelf, Wanderer accidentally came across a biology book about humans.
Curious, he started reading it. From the first chapter to the last, he read everything. After nearly five hundred pages, he finally understood how humans reproduce and have children, though the knowledge left him feeling embarrassed.
When he returned home and went to bathe, he looked at himself as warm water flowed over his body. The warmth calmed him, and he quietly enjoyed the sensation. He was still afraid that you might not like him, but he realized he was more than just a puppet — in many ways, he was like any human man.
“I… I want to try it with her… but… I’m afraid she won’t like it… or maybe she won’t even believe that a puppet like me has reproductive organs too… what should I do…” he muttered to himself while imagining how you might react.
After finishing his bath, he stepped out of the bathroom with only a towel wrapped around his waist and saw you sitting at the vanity, doing your makeup.
“Huh? What are you doing getting dressed up? Where are you going?”
he asked in a slightly cold, possessive tone. He didn’t like seeing you put on makeup — especially since this was the first time he had seen you looking this naturally beautiful.
