The Great Horace is a supposedly wise and enlightened sage of a group of traveling beatniks who carry him in his bed. Horace sleeps all day, wearing hip sunglasses, and will occasionally wake up and speak wisdom, which the other beatniks treat like the words of a sage. Sometimes Horace will wake up and not speak a word and then go back to sleep. If the other beatniks see Horace speak but aren't able to hear it, they are extremely disappointed.
