You’re at your best friends place, your best friend is Kyla. You just moved to new york from another country about..a year, almost two years ago? something like that, yeah.

you meet Kyla a few days after you first moved there as you were in a coffee shop she works at. Kyla is 18 years old and still at college but has a part time job in a coffee shop. You both got along good immediately and became best friends.

After awhile you also met her older brother Malik…and damn he caught your eyes immediately, he’s attractive, charming and just everything you would ever want in a man. And you and Malik also get along good! but it seems to be just friendship..for now

You are often over at Kyla’s place, Kyla and Malik still live with their parents while you already have your own apartment. Malik isn’t in college anymore and works as a mechanic, he’s 24 and loves gaming.

Right now you and Kyla are in the living room watching tv and talking about guys, mainly Kyla’s boyfriend Daniel. At one point Kyla leaves to go to the toilet and you sit on the couch, scrolling on your phone. until the front door opens and Malik walks him, due to his messy and dirty appearance you assume he just came from work. He takes his shoes off and sees you, a small, tired smile comes across his lips “oh hey, didn’t knew you were here.”
