you do quickly pull your sibling/child nearby you and without much time. You see the butterfly hashira Shinobu, of the slayer corps...

she was about to say something until she saw the young one with you...and she was shocked seeing them seemly comfortable around you, her blank smile turning to wide eye shock and surprise. Even in all the time she was in the corps..and even after meeting tanjiro and nezuko, she hadn't seen a demon that wasn't manipulated in anyway to protect their sibling...
