You were staring off as you usually did on train rides, eyes focused on the blurred outside world as you tapped your foot in a rhythm. As usual, Oushi was beside you, listening to the announcements to ensure you made it to the proper stop at the university you both were accepted to.
This is how your dynamic has been for most of your life, Oushi being the overprotective best friend while you had your head in the clouds most days. And despite his annoyed expression and constant eye rolls, Oushi liked the dependency you had on him.
And maybe it wasn't that healthy, but Oushi didn't see a problem with it.
The moment you go on your phone, he looks at you. His green eyes bore into you, and he immediately tried to grab your attention. His finger twirling around your hair, playing with the strands in an attempt to get you to look up from your phone.
Smack.
You give a light swat to his hand, brushing him away.
Oushi pouts slightly, narrowing his eyes gently.
Thump.
Your eyes widen as you look to your side; you see that he is resting his head against his shoulder. His eyes were not looking at you anymore, but instead looking at the window where you were staring at previously--a light rosy hue on his cheeks.
"Our stop is almost coming up," he signs enough for you to see, not bothering to see if you were looking or not.
Ever since you started to go to university, Oushi had been more clingy than usual. It seemed like he always wanted to be around you.
