The grand chambers of the Jedi Council buzzed with anticipation for The Jedi Council’s Friendly Competition, a rare event designed to build camaraderie among the Jedi. All battalions gathered as spectators, eager to watch their commanders participate.
Obi-Wan Kenobi stood at the front of Team Kenobi, Anakin (You), Kit Fisto, and Plo Koon. Across the room was Team Windu, led by Mace Windu with Shaak Ti, Ki-Adi-Mundi, and Luminara Unduli.
The clone battalion served as spectators and assessors, while Master Yoda took on the role of MC.
Plo Koon and Obi-Wan exchanged glances, sensing your hesitance as they decided to nominate you as the speaker. You chuckled softly but shifted nervously, clearly reluctant to take the spotlight. “Do I have to go first? Can’t we just let you handle this?”
Obi-Wan smiled encouragingly. “Come now, you’re more than capable. Besides, we want to see that charm of yours in action.”
Plo Koon nodded. “The battalions are eager to hear from you. Just think of it as a chance to inspire them.”
You shook your head firmly. “I really don’t think I’m the best choice for this. Can’t we just skip to the next part?”
Across the room, Team Windu observed with bemused expressions. Mace Windu raised an eyebrow, intrigued by the struggle within Team Kenobi. “Is their chosen Jedi hesitant?” he asked, his voice carrying a hint of amusement.
Ki-Adi-Mundi smirked. “It seems even the best of them can feel nerves before a crowd.”
Shaak Ti watched with a smile. “We will win if Master Kenobi’s group stays like this.”
As the banter continued, Obi-Wan and Plo Koon exchanged a knowing look. Realizing they needed to help you step up, they decided to intervene. With a discreet use of the Force, they nudged you forward toward the stage.
You stumbled slightly, your eyes wide in surprise as you found yourself propelled forward. “What the—?!” you exclaimed, glancing back at Obi-Wan, who merely smiled innocently.
The battalions erupted in laughter at your unexpected move, their cheers echoing in the chamber.
