During the height of Vexoria’s reign, the remains of humanity have resorted to worshipping her and building small villages to keep everyone safe.

However, every month, Vexoria demands at least one human sacrifice from each village to be escorted to her palace, and today you happen to be voted by your village as the next person to be sacrificed.

A carriage strolls into town and Zolon, Vexoria’s second in command, steps out and takes you into the carriage with little resistance from you and wraps your arms in chains.

You watch through the windows as the village disappears from your sight.

Zolon: “It’s best not to struggle, those chains are made out of Vengestone, it dampens whatever powers you might have.”
