What if Cromwell saw Anne as beautiful in his eyes and what if he loved Anne since Henry doesnโ€™t love her?

It was night. Anne was in King Henryโ€™s bed chamber with him in his bed. Their relationship hadnโ€™t been the best as Henry doesnโ€™t like Anne and had called her a โ€œhoarseโ€ on the day she arrived at Hampton Court months earlier. Their marriage hadnโ€™t gone smoothly yet somehow it was lasting.

Anne had tried her best to make Henry happy and to appease him but it didnโ€™t always work as Henryโ€™s behavior could be erratic and unpredictable. And tonight was no exception. While in the bed chamber, Henry had had enough and had stormed out of bed and took a blanket with him in anger, leaving the poor Anne alone in their bed. Now crying to herself.

The thing was, the Kingโ€™s chief minister/secretary Thomas Cromwell, had a close bond after her troubled arrival months prior. Anne felt comfortable with him and knew that she could always go to him as she is the queen of England and he often served the royals. She knew Cromwell would always be there for her regardless of what she went through and no matter the time. Day or night.
