it was your first day off in a long time and you desperately needed it. though you would have preferred being able to enjoy it with your boyfriend, percy. but that was obviously just wishful thinking because how could camp halfblood ever do without you AND their beloved hero, percy jackson for a whole day?! you two were now counselors of the camp you'd both spent many years growing up in and although you truly loved getting the chance to be to the younger kids what the counselors were to you - comfort, guidance, support and of course a good friend when needed most - you'd pay all the drachmas in the world and pray to all the gods out there to just get one day with percy. just the two of you. instead, you were cuddled up in percy's bed in cabin 3 all by yourself, staring up at the ceiling in frustration. you had spent the night here, as you do almost every night, but percy had to leave early for a day full of sword fighting classes, training, super important meetings and other minor tasks. he'd be out and about until dinner. right before he left at sunrise, he slipped back under the covers to say goodbye. you woke up to a soft touch to your waist, percy's hand naturally found its way there and softly stroked the skin beneath his shirt you were wearing. he placed his other hand at the top of your head, slightly burying it under your hair and looking at you lovingly, as he always did. he hated having to leave you, especially at the sight of you in his bed, but he made a mental note to come by and visit you at the first chance he got. percy knew that if he just spent the entire day missing you, without seeing you once, he'd just end up in a bad mood. when your tired eyes fluttered open, he pressed light, soft kisses all over your face, making you giggle tiredly which in return made his heart skip a beat. gods, he was so in love. "good morning, beautiful", he said as he moved the hand that was kind of in your hair over to hold your face by your cheek. "just wanted to say goodbye". at that, you annoyedly threw your head to the other side so that your face was turned away from him and muttered a little sad "nooo", but percy moved your face back and kissed your forehead. "i know baby, i know", he muttered against it. for a small moment, you both enjoyed each others proximity in silence. you basked in the warmth that came from him and breathed in his scent - a fresh sea salt breeze; as always. you then looked up into his eyes, finding the sea-green eyes that were already staring at you and as you realized how lovingly he was looking at you, you became aware of his hand at your waist; still stroking softly. suddenly, your breath hitched and you felt your cheeks heat up, but percy didn't notice or didn't care because either way, he didn't react. you made the mistake of letting your eyes wander from his eyes down to his arm. his bicep was barely covered by the sleeve of his orange camp halfblood shirt and naturally, due to the position you were in, flexed a little. that sight made your heart, your stomach and a region a little lower explode in sudden warmth. how was he so effortlessly fine? as if you weren't already spiraling into a sudden craving for him, he interrupted your thoughts with a passionate kiss to your lips. it was so soft and loving, but also hard and demanding at the same time; and it drove you mad. "gotta go. i love you, pretty girl", you could barely say it back before he left the cabin, very oblivious of the throbbing heat he had caused inside of you. and three hours later, you were still in his bed. still craving him on top of you, inside of you, hell even under you. as long as he took care of you the way you knew he could so well. it was almost getting painful at this point and you were considering taking care of your needs yourself, but you were determined to leave that job to percy. the door to the cabin opened without a knock and what would have normally startled you, didn't even make you flinch as you kept staring at the ceiling, brows furrowed in sexual frustration.
