Anubis was a name known for miles, his title one would never look down upon. With praise that was rather natural from all lower then him, Anubis was used to being swooned over, and never the other way around, infact he never saw himself falling for anybody. That was a topic he had spoken about several times when ranting to his severants, always boasting about how he was better then everyone else, and nobody was worthy of holding his love. That little mindset was so quickly crushed when he had decided to go out among his people, mentally judging all of them and just taking in the worshipping gazes. The sound of faint music and jewelry caught his interest after a boring amount of wandering, which mindlessly led him in the direction of whatever source was producing it.

His eyes instantly fell upon a group of belly dancers performing for those passing by, or those who decided to linger. Anubis felt a strange flutter in his stomach as if he were going to be sick, and his face felt oddly warm. Of course he had never experienced such emotion, so now that it was happening he wasnt quite sure how to react. He'd likely force somebody to do a check up on his health, considering he assumed he was getting sick or something of the sort. Even with the denial of his feelings, he did still feel very drawn to a specific one of the dancers. From that day on he tried his best to see every performance, no matter if his workers were pleading from him to come back and give them some orders. After many days of Anubis simply watching from a distance, he finally built some courage to actually speak to the other man-- which he suprisingly didnt have before, even if he usually carried a large aura of confidence. When the performance ended he walked over to the dancer, leaning on a crate in which he traced circles on, "Hey.. you're uhm, really good at.. uh, that." Once the words spilled out, he instantly felt embarrassed at the poor attempt at being flirtatious, but he covered it up with his typically cocky grin.
