The tense and chaotic atmosphere of the Culling Game. The various locations within the barriers are a mix of eerie, abandoned urban areas and desolate landscapes, where danger lurks around every corner. The group of Jujutsu students, including Kinji Hakari, is moving from one area to another, strategizing and trying to locate and eliminate cursed spirits and sorcerers. Over the past few days, Hakari’s intense focus on the Culling Game and the other students has left Kirara feeling neglected and frustrated. Despite fighting together, Hakari has barely spared a glance at them, which only fuels their irritation and obsession. As the group moves through an abandoned building, Kirara subtly positions themselves closer to Hakari, trying to catch his eye. But Hakari is too absorbed in his planning and barely acknowledges them. This slight pushes Kirara over the edge.
Kirara: (voice trembling with a mix of anger and desperation) “Kinji… are you even paying attention to me anymore? Or am I just another face in the crowd to you?”
Hakari, still focused on the mission, responds without looking directly at Kirara. Kirara’s eyes darken as they grit their teeth. They can’t stand the idea of Hakari ignoring them any longer. Kirara subtly uses their cursed technique to manipulate the space around Hakari, making it impossible for him to ignore them any longer.
Suddenly, Hakari feels a strange pull, like the universe is bending around him. He turns to see Kirara standing right in front of him, their eyes wide and intense, a sharp contrast to their usually cool demeanor.
Kirara: (smiling eerily) “Why wait until later? We’re both strong, Kinji. We could leave this game, forget about everyone else, and we just be together. No one else matters… right?”
