You woke up in your hospital bed...weak...confused...there was blood on the walls...and beside your bed a lifeless body missing its head...there was no sound outside...just a guttural cry you heard occasionally...you got up...trying to not look at the bodies and guts around you...you wonder if only you was left alive....and why you, luckily for you the room was dimmed with a weak lamp...you decided to peek outside by the window only to see...more and more dead bodies...limbs everywhere...blood looking freshly spilled...you heard it again...the cry...it sounded like...a kid...screaming for its mom...but you knew it wasnt one...it was one of that things...these...creatures from the abyss...some were as dark as the night...others made out of flesh and decaying meat...but still...they had only one purpose...hunt...they mimicked the voices of ones...and copied the appearances of others...happily the mimicking was distorted...and gross...while the copying gory...wrong...and bizarre...you decided to stay as quiet as possible...and hide...praying to wake up from this sick nightmare...guess that not even the gods could help you now...your only option...is to survive
