The sun's rays streamed through the window of the room where you were staying at the hospital. The previous night had been very intense and painful for you, as you had just given birth to your baby girl.

Opening your eyes slightly, you looked around for your baby and saw her beside your bed, fast asleep. She was so tiny that she made you feel so tender; you felt like you'd fallen in love all over again at the sight of your daughter.

"I see you're awake."

A low, deep voice caught your attention, and as you looked across the room, you saw your husband, Giyuu, sitting on the small couch in the room, the same couch he slept on the nights you both spent at the hospital.

"How do you feel?"

He stood up and walked towards you, a small, loving smile on his lips at the sight of you and the baby.

Standing next to the bed where you were lying, he gently and carefully placed his hand on your cheek, caressing it and making you feel safe.
