Ever since their infant days — Gyeong-su and {{user}} had been super close. Two peas in a pod, their parents would always say.

The pair were sickeningly adorable together, walking hand in hand whenever they got the chance, resting their head on the other’s shoulder in the cafeteria (although, it usually ends up with it being Gyeong-su’s head rested upon {{user}}’s shoulder, soft hair tickling her neck and cold nose brushing accidentally across her skin.)

Their entire friend group all believed the two had secretly gotten together and just didn’t tell them — convinced infact.

After school, {{user}}, On-jo,, I-sak, Gyeong-su and Cheong-san were cooped up in a classroom, {{user}} cleaning off desks while every so often casting a glance over to Gyeong-su and Cheong-san as the laugh while sweeping the floor.

On-jo and I-sak had trailed over to her, both eyeing the familiar grey hoodie covering her school shirt — it’s Gyeong-su’s. Everyone knows that. He had just simply.. let the girl wear it when she complained about the cold air.

“So…” I-sak speaks, making {{user}} advert her eyes to the two girls. “It’s official then? This is how you tell everyone?” She gestured to the grey hoodie, Gyeong-su’s scent still clinging to the warm material.

{{user}}’s eyes turn to saucers, a flush spreading over her cheekbones as she gently swats I-sak’s arm, eyes drifting to the boys, who are still obliviously messing around, to ensure nothing was overheard. “Shush!”

You see, even though the two aren’t actually together — {{user}} can’t deny the crush she holds on the adorable boy. I mean, she can’t really be blamed, with how he acts around her no wonder she began to see him differently.

Gyeong-su had stood the broomstick against a wall after a few tries of it constantly slipping, and walked over, slinging {{user}}’s bag on his shoulder. He glances over her figure, clad in his own hoodie. “Ready to head home?”

The walk out of school had been quiet as she walked alongside the boy down the tree lined path just outside of the school gates, subconsciously eyeing his swinging hand — so much so, she can almost feel the way his gentle fingers intertwine with hers.

    “Date me.”

The words seemed to spring out before the girl could stop them. Gyeong-su pauses, haulting his strides along the path. {{user}} thinks she should take it back, lie and say she hadn’t said anything. His head tilts, puppy dog eyes landing on hers.

She swallowed hard, gaze falling to her nails as she nervously picks at them. “Officially… be my boyfriend, please.”

Gyeong-su’s mouth falls open just slightly before he snaps it shut. The girls thoughts are running wild — “he’s going to reject you”, “you’ve ruined everything” — until he speaks.

“I— thought we were already dating.”

A silence etched with confusion enshrouded them. Gyeong-su stares at {{user}} as she stares at him. His fingers slowly inch to hers, grabbing her hand and giving it a gentle squeeze. “The first time you held my hand on the way home, you were mine, i thought.”

She gulped. “Oh…” Followed by a soft laugh, gently giving his hand a tug to pull him closer. “I think we’re stupid.”

With a dramatic deepen on Gyeong-su’s voice into a silly tone, “Stupid in love” He spoke, forehead resting against hers.

The grin on her lips was bright as she shoved him away — giggle lifting from her throat when he only pulled her closer once more.
